Brody says, "Momma"

This video was taken March 16th of Brody saying, "Mom" and "Momma". Everyday he gets better at it. Hayley and I went shopping on Sunday and were startled by Brody. We had been walking side by side in JCPenneys. I was pushing the stroller and Hayley was holding Brody. She had to step infront of me to get through the crowds. Out of my sight - Brody very loudly said, "MOMMA!" We were both shocked.

Healthy??

Finally...everyone is healthy. I hate to say that because you never know what may happen in this house. Landry had a visit with the Neurologist yesterday. He is now not sure that she is having seizures, but perhaps a condition called Benign Paroxysmal Vertigo - it is a variation of migraines. All I can say is ..... strange. It fits perfectly in the strange medical condition umbrella that seems to cover our family (Calvin excluded of course). We are to watch her for the next 3 months and observe and journal these episodes that she is having.
At least it's not boring here!!

Just the Highlights!

1. Landry had strep
2. I got strep
3. I got a lovely stay in the hospital
4. Cried because I was away from my babies
5. Brody ate lots of new things
6. We stayed for almost a week with my parents
7. Brody got sick
8. Brody ate mashed potatos - LOVED THEM!
9. Everyone is better
10. Landry had a seizure while eating supper (she is okay)
11. Brody is pushing up on hands and knees and rocking
12. Landry going to see the Neurologist next week
13. Brody is trying to sign 'more' while eating

On The Move

These pictures were taken last week when Brody first discovered he could propel his body forward by giving a good shove with his feet. You can see in the first and the third pictures his arms tucked under his chest. He uses his arm to help push forward.

It is amazing in just a few short days how quickly he has perfected his technique. He can really move now. He constantly is rolling and 'crawling' around the room.

Ready For The Military?

I sure hope my sweet baby is not ready for military service, but he sure crawls like it. We have an Army crawler. It is so funny to see him move. He started last week and wants to move as fast as Landry. His lower half gets to going faster than the top and he frequently topples over. He uses his left arm for leverage under his body and pushes with his feet and legs. I hope to get some pictures of the process posted soon. I am having a hard enough time right now typing this because he is ALL over the place.
He is also quite the talker. He babbles and blows raspberries all the time. He even makes sounds and I am sure he is saying, "mom" and "momma". We have some video of him doing it. Hope to get that posted as well.
