Brody is still working on sitting up on his own. He can sit up about 10 seconds unassisted. He wants to stand so badly. He pushes himself out of sitting so quickly that 10 seconds is about the best he can do.

Do They Call This Sitting Or Falling?
Brody is still working on sitting up on his own. He can sit up about 10 seconds unassisted. He wants to stand so badly. He pushes himself out of sitting so quickly that 10 seconds is about the best he can do.
Would You Like To Join The Book Club???
Landry loves her babies and is really into storytelling right now. I found her in the living room the other day like this.....Book club anyone??
Random 5 Month Pics of Brody
This picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it. We went for a walk in the pasture one evening. I put Brody in his carseat in the stroller and wrapped it with this blanket to keep the wind off of him. I just loved seeing his little face peeking out.
A moment of happy. He doesn't look like this very often in his highchair. I usually get cries and grimaces saying, "Hello...do you hear me over here...I am STARVING!"

Ahhh....The Country Life
I love these pictures of the sunrise I took a few weeks ago. It is fantastic to look out the window and not see into the kitchen of your neighbor.

Brody's First Cereal
Well, the dreaded day finally arrived on December 29th ..... Brody's first bites of cereal. AAAHHHH! 5 months old already!!!
Even today he continues to be indifferent about cereal. The first few bites produce a, "What are you doing to me???" face and then he just eats. Doesn't seem to like it, but doesn't hate it either.

Ok...so I am slow!
Landry and her "bathtub baby". It was the one thing that she REALLY wanted from Santa.
Landry had a great day. Brody slept through the opening of gifts at our house. They were both spoiled rotten by their Grandparents and Aunts. Landry is totally excited about the Santa's next visit. "Maybe Santa can bring me a ?????? tomorrow." I don't think she really understood Santa prior to seeing and opening all the gifts. Now she knows just what to ask for and how the whole 'process' works. It is quite difficult to explain to her that he does not return for a year - no concept of time. She cried when we took the tree down. "But it looks SO beautiful. I want it to be Christmas time again!!!"
