Brody is 10 Months

Brody is 10 months old! He is so much fun right now. The major loves in his life are:

1. Momma - he continues to say "mom" and "momma" countless times every day; he says "Da-da" too.

2. His sister - he loves to pull her hair and climb all over her
3. To crawl and attempt to climb (anything he can step up on, he will try)

4. To eat - he can sign the word more and says "mo" on occasion; he knows the word eat!

5. The bathtub - he loves to stand at the edge and try to lean in; also to knock as many bottles as possible into the tub

6. To drink from a straw

7. Ice cream - thanks Papa!

8. Momma - did I mention that already? :)

Fun things:

1. He wrinkles his nose and squints his eyes when he smiles (pictures of this in upcoming posts)

2. Likes to chase the cat and pull out as much fur as possible.

3. If you look at him like, "What are you doing?" he will give this ornery look - he knows he is funny.

4. If you pretend to chase him - he puts his 'crawler' in high gear and moves across the floor! He loves this!

5. Loves to play with whatever Landry is playing with - she is really easily annoyed by this.

6. Loves to pull out all of Landry's DVD out of the tub they are stored in.

7. Loves to laugh and his laugh is infectious.

He weighs 19 lbs 3 ounces and is 28 1/4 inches long.

Swimming fun (...and "Time to go" meltdowns!)

Hayley and I took the kids to the YMCA to swim yesterday. They had SO much fun. Landry asked every few minutes on the way to Wichita if we were there yet. It was Brody's first encounter with the pool and he loved it. I only got a few good pictures of the kids because they would not stop for 2 seconds to pose. They were constantly on the go. They were sad when it was time to go. We had a great time (thanks Hayley!!).

Some random pictures of Brody. Love those baby-blues. He has just finished cutting his 6th tooth and during lunch today I noticed #7. He is pretty fussy and is NOT sleeping through the night any more. Poor baby. It is amazing how much he has accomplished in the last month. Hard to believe just a few days ago he was pushing up to stand, now he cruises the furniture. I swear his arms get longer every day. He can reach everything! He has an infectious laugh - so funny. He is getting taller and thinner. Has anyone seen my baby??........

Landry has had so much fun playing outside lately. Rain or shine, warm or cold. What a strange month - jacket one day, swimsuit the next.
